FEU and LOREN

Back to home

Feu is a cob, a Norman workhorse. After being hitched and ridden for his pleasure and ours, he now enjoys a peaceful retirement ..

Loren is a donkey of Cotentin (in Normandy).

As all donkeys of her race, she wears a pretty brown cross on her gray dress. Her ancestors were used to carry milk or wheat. But Loren did not know anything about it, she always grazed, without worries.

At night, they go to their stables. They are fed and cared every evening between 4.30pm and 7pm and they goback to their meadow every morning between 6am and 9am.

You will find them in one of their 3 meadows, where they spend the day grazing, scratching and frolicking.

With a good luck, during your walk, and if you do not make too much noise, you will have the pleasure to surprise our visitors and friends.

Falcons, bawks, hares, lizards and sometimes deer, living here a long time before us, take advantage of their freedom.
